  • ‘Danders Aroon’ Walks Series Goes live

After a glorious few weeks of filming in Autumnal sunshine we went straight into editing the series of video Walking Guides called ‘Danders Aroon’, which we devised and produced for the Ulster Scots Broadcast Fund and our hosting partners, Walk NI. The series of 5 plus additional content covers Islandmagee, Dunseverick, Donaghadee, Killyleagh and the Lagan Towpath. The short videos are designed to introduce people to short walks in these areas and introduce aspects of Ulster Scots history and culture pertaining to each. It was a lovely project to work on, showing off the best of Northern Ireland’s scenery. After a short delay due to the government’s Covid travel restrictions the series is now live on the Walk NI and Ulster Scots Agency websites.

  • THE ONE SHOW FILM

Swimmer Emre Preparing to take on The North Channel

We were very pleased to get commissioned by BBC’s ‘The One Show’ to tell the story of the Mallon Family from South Armagh and their work in helping endurance swimmers attempt to cross The North Channel between Scotland and Ireland. We filmed Emre Erdogan from Turkey having a go, and it was broadcast on The One Show in October. The swim crossing was filmed by Damien Gallagher and Graham Little and the short film was edited by Neil Whiteside. Thanks very much to The One Show Executive Producer Claire Megahey for her support and to all at Infinity Channel Swimming for their hospitality. We hope to make a full documentary on their work and the history of North Channel swims.

  • BBC HISTORY DOC DELIVERED

Presenter Leon McCarron in Downing Street with cameraman Phil Rowe

We have just delivered a one hour documentary to BBC Northern Ireland about former Prime Minister, Andrew Bonar Law. Presented by Leon McCarron, a writer and distant relation of Law, it was shot in London and on the former Law family farm near Portrush, County Antrim. It will be broadcast later this year.
